Most of what you’ll need is supplied, but we do ask that you bring your own bed linens and towels.

- Pillow Cases: Standard size. Pillows provided or bring your own
- Hand Towels, face cloths, bath towels

- Coffee (filters provided)
- Nespresso pods (Nespresso machine and frother provided)
- Cell phone (coverage is reasonable; no land-line phone)
- Rain gear
- Insect repellent
- Sunscreen
- Hair dryer (1 provided)
What’s Provided
- Common spices: Salt, pepper, sugar, etc.
- Dishes, pots, pans, casserole dishes, roasting pans, cutlery
- Cleaning supplies
- Dishwasher, dishwasher detergent and dish soap
- Coffee filters
- Protective mattress covers, pillows and comforters
Drinking Water
Drinking water is purified from a well via a water filter and UV sterilization system. It is safe to drink, but bring bottled water if you wish. The refrigerator also dispenses filtered water.
Damage
All costs associated with damage are deducted from the security deposit at the discretion of the owner. Additional costs not covered by the security deposit will be charged to the renter if necessary. If anything gets broken while you are at the cottage, please let us know.
Garbage
Removal is to be performed by the renter. There are several garbage dumps in Minden or you can take it home. Use only paper for starting fires (please do not burn garbage).
Internet Usage
Use of wifi internet is provided, however we do have data limits. Please be reasonable with your internet use and avoid heavy streaming / downloading.
Cleaning
It is the renter’s responsibility to clean the property to the same standard it was on arrival. If the cottage is not clean when you arrive, please notify us.
If the property is not properly cleaned, (vacuum, dust, sweep floors, clean bathrooms & kitchen and all garbage & recyclables removed) an appropriate amount will be deducted from your damage deposit. Please remove all food items from the refrigerator and pantry.
Smoking and Pets
Smoking is not allowed within the cottage. Please also clean up any cigarette butts outside. Pets are not allowed in the cottage nor on the property. We appreciate your cooperation.
Damage Deposit
Your deposit will be returned after the owner has inspected the property and certified all is in order.
